Tree of Light is a handmade table lamp in which wood, natural forms and warm light blend together to create a unique work of art. From its sturdy wooden base, the design seems to grow upwards into an open canopy of natural branches, with the light source as its warm centrepiece.
The base is made from recycled pallet wood. The wood has been worked to emphasise the grain, colour variations and natural imperfections. A whimsical piece of thick branch has been incorporated into the base, giving the lamp an almost organic, sculptural appearance.
The crown is the most distinctive part of Árbol de Luz. Curved branches are jute rope interconnected and featuring handcrafted decorative elements. The interplay of wood and jute creates an open structure in which the light source becomes an integral part of the design. Rather than a traditional lampshade that conceals the light, it is a structure that frames it.
The entire wooden structure is finished with varnish. This enhances the deep wood tones and gives the surface a warm, characterful sheen, whilst allowing the material’s original grain to remain visible.
Árbol de Luz comes with a extra-warm white 1800K LED light source. With 250 lumens, it provides soft, atmospheric lighting and highlights the warm character of the wood without being too bright.
Like every piece by Pimpan Artesano, Árbol de Luz is also entirely handmade in Spain. No two pieces are exactly the same. The shape of the branches, the wood grain and the handcrafted finish make this table lamp a truly unique piece.
The result is more than just a light fitting: it is a functional work of art in which the original materials are still allowed to show through.

Instant atmosphere and character
Árbol de Luz changes in character throughout the day. During the day, it is the organic shapes, the charred wood and the jute craftsmanship that particularly catch the eye. As soon as the light is switched on, the light source becomes the warm heart of the wooden canopy, creating a completely different atmosphere.
Place the lamp on a sideboard, low cabinet or side table where there is enough space to admire its unique shape from all angles. Árbol de Luz does not need to be combined with lots of decoration — it is, in fact, the sort of piece that deserves to take centre stage on its own.
